Calacas, is a mexicanism that refers to human skeletons or skulls. Tzompantli or skull altar was an element that was part of pre-Hispanic culture. When the colonial process occurs, there is a syncretism between the indigenous civilization and the Hispanic heritage of the Europeans, forming the current Mexican culture. Altar de Calacas is a tribute to the Hispanic and indigenous heritage that makes up and gives life to Mexico.

The label is inspired by the Christian cross but made up of stone skulls, which also emulates the shape of the papel picado used in Mexican crafts. During the Day of the Dead, the four points represent the four cardinal points, the typography of the logo is inspired by the classic catalog of the mid-20th century, about folk art Mexican masks by Roberto Montenegro. Colorimetry is inspired by the vibrant and colorful culture of the mexican country.
