Phantom Design House designed the family of packaging, for their new product Pellito – Peanut Caramel Bar, targeted to the south-central Europe markets. With references to classic Friz Freleng and Tex Avery animations, hand-drawn fonts with the traditional techniques of sign-painters in Europe and USA, the product’s identity has a character of its own – literally! The old Vamvalis company logo (a Mexican peanut-mascot), was revived as the main character of the Peanut Caramel packaging. With a wide smile of delight, eyes shut with enjoyment and holding the flavour’s basic ingredients, this character grabs the viewer’s attention and awakens joyful childhood
