Stadio Now revives Aldo Novarese’s 1974 typeface, originally for R41. This extrabold grotesque sans serif features reverse contrast, with thicker horizontal lines, creating a unique „Italian“ style. Novarese described it as a decorative display typeface with enlarged horizontal proportions. In 2021, Stadio Now was expanded into a versatile multi-weight family with text and display variants, including a variable version. Later that year, Stadio Deva, Devanagari version in five weights was released.
