Switchel — a little known sparkling health tonic with an apple cider vinegar base. Designed by AKIN, a strategic design studio co-founded by designers Tana Mitchell and Emma Kainuk, based in Auckland, New Zealand.
Switchel is organic and packed with good stuff, like live probiotics. And it tastes delicious. As a brand they’re known for their charming illustrations and characters — this was a chance to build on the equity of prior products, whilst feeling fresh and unexpected. The third eye (also called the mind’s eye, or inner eye) is a mystical and esoteric concept of a speculative invisible eye, usually depicted as located on the forehead providing perception beyond ordinary sight — the kind of perception that leads to you buying a refreshing drink that’s good for you.
